Carey was first attracted to "Hidden Secrets" by the prospect of collaborating with his friend, producer and actor David A.R. White. After reading the script, Carey knew it was exactly the kind of material he had been looking to direct: a character driven, intimate drama with a slight touch of comedy. Carey brings with him nearly 25 years of acting and teaching (he also runs the acclaimed acting school, The Rehearsal Room, in Los Angeles and San Diego) experience to "Hidden Secrets." David A.R. WhiteMr. White has been in the entertainment business since the age of 19, starring in television, films and producing his own films. He has received numerous award nominations and critical accolades. David grew up in a small town outside of Dodge City, Kansas. His father was a pastor in the denomination of Evangelical Free Church. David became a Christian at the age of four. After high school, David went to Moody Bible College in Chicago for one year. There he received his first line in his first Christian Movie, Geronimo. Just six months after moving to Los Angeles, David landed a recurring role on Evening Shade with Burt Reynolds for four years. David then went on to guest appearances on such shows as Coach, Saved by the Bell, Sisters, Melrose Place, Martial Law and many others. Russ WolfeMr. Wolfe has a long and distinguished career in the entertainment and event management industry. He has held numerous senior level positions where he has helped achieve strong growth goals, both domestically and internationally. Russell Wolfe began his career in 1989 as a partner in an event management firm based in Miami, Florida. Within four years, Russell expanded the company's international reach by opening offices in Russia, Eastern Europe and Brazil. He was instrumental in establishing the sponsor relationship between BMW and the Atlanta Committee for Olympic Games (ACOG) as well as overseeing the design and execution of the caravan management of the 1996 Olympic Torch Relay. Later in 1996, Russell started his own company, Premier Event Management, Inc. (Premier), which is a full-service event consulting, project management, and marketing firm. Premier is one of the industry's leading event management companies and currently has offices in Arizona, California and New Jersey. Their clients currently include (but are not limited to): BMW of North America, Porsche, Volvo, New Line Cinema, Vespa/Piaggio USA, U.S. Department of Energy, Jaguar, Rogers and Cowan, Aston Martin of North America and Ventana Medical Systems. In addition, Premier has consulted numerous Fortune 500 companies concerning their strategic marketing plans and execution and has managed countless events nationally as well as internationally, in such countries as Australia, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Greece, and Singapore. In 2002, Russell started a production company, Premier Productions, as a subsidiary to Premier Event Management, Inc. Premier Productions provides commercials, training videos, press and product launch video production, as well as film production. Premier Event Management and Premier Productions has allowed Russell to combine his expertise in commercial and film production management, marketing, event planning, trade show coordination and management, and product introductions to the benefit all of his clients. Russell Wolfe lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife Alysoun, and their two children, Lauren and Mitchell. He serves on the Board of Directors for the International Artists Gathering for Peace (IAGP), is on the steering committee for the International Foundation for Anticancer Drug Discovery (IFADD), and is an active supporter of Travel the Road Ministries in Los Angeles, California. When Russell isn't working, he enjoys spending time with the Church Men's Group, motorcycling, sailing, scuba diving and maintaining his private pilot's license. He also likes to think of himself as a certified Barbequeologist. Sean Paul Murphy Timothy Ratajczak was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, an honor he shares with Frank Zappa, Spiro Agnew and a host of other dead people. Timothy is a graduate of Towson University with a degree in Mass Communications. With hindsight, he should probably have majored in something more relevant to the entertainment industry such as law, psychiatry or cosmetic surgery. Like his partner Sean Murphy, Timothy was raised and educated a Catholic; however, he was excommunicated after he disagreed with the Church's views on embalming. (Timothy felt it should not be practiced exclusively on the deceased.)
"Hidden Secrets" is the first film he has co-written. In the writing team of Murphy and Ratajczak, Timothy is known as the undisciplined gag man, as he certainly lacks a sense of discipline and has been known to make people gag.
